Meet The Founders
RACHAEL ROGERS
MBA Founder & CEO
Rachael Rogers is an dedicated entrepreneur and leader who is deeply committed to empowering women in business. She is also a Payments Consulting Practices Lead at a global technology company, where she has a proven track record of conceptualizing and implementing large-scale transformation programs that drive significant business growth.
Rachael’s passion for personal and professional development is rooted in her own educational journey. Having graduated from high school at 14 and earned her bachelor’s degree at 19, she is a lifelong learner who is driven by a relentless optimism about the future. She believes that education is the key to unlocking one’s full potential.
In addition to her passion for women’s rights and education, Rachael is a classically-trained violinist and an avid world traveler, seeking out new experiences and cultures wherever she goes. On weekends, she loves to get outside into nature and explore the Boston food scene: always down for a spicy marg! Rachael is a loving sibling to five brothers and two sisters, and she and her husband Dave are proud parents to their Goldendoodle, Joy, who keeps them entertained with her playful antics.
SOFIE SVELANDER
Co-founder & Head of Marketing
Sofie is born and raised in Sweden but considers herself a citizen of the world. The last 10 years have included living in Boston, London, NYC, San Francisco, Sweden, and Palestine. During the latter she worked for a non-profit organization, educating women about microloans, computer proficiency, and entrepreneurship.
For as long as she can remember, Sofie has been a strong advocate and activist of gender equality. She holds a bachelor degree in women’s rights and has spent a semester in South Africa studying and volunteering at a women’s shelter.
Career wise, she spent three years on the creative side of marketing working at Google, and throughout grad school she consulted female-owned startups in Boston, focusing on social media marketing and brand building. With GameChangers, Sofie gets to combine her two passions of marketing and women’s empowerment.
